About me
Alessandra Ruiz is a Cuban-American actress with a B.A. in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Physical Theatre from California State University, Fullerton. She grew up in Los Angeles, California, but relocated to the East Coast to pursue theatre in NYC.
Her passion for theatre comes from the need for representation in media/arts. As a Latinx actress, she wants to give a voice to those whose stories aren't being heard. She wants to use theatre to open up minds and hearts for a better society. Alessandra believes theatre is a powerful art form that can truly help make a change.
Alessandra believes artists should always strive to wear many hats and she is constantly looking for more opportunities to grow within the varying mediums in the business. She loves the stage, but also has passions and works in film/tv, voiceover, and educational theatre for kids.
